BRATs  start to walk on the 'wild side'

Hulu Langat (Malaysia): The Bright Roving Annoying Teenagers (BRATs) took a trip down the 'wild side' yesterday in the first workshop of the year in Pangsun here.

The youngsters, aged between 16 and 19, will be spending the next three days learning about the environment in the Pangsun area.

The 39 teenagers, who have gathered from all over the country, were also introduced to print journalism and learnt about what the BRATs programme was all about.

BRATs is a community project by The Star (Malaysia) that is committed to exposing teenagers to thew world around them. This year's workshop theme will be on conservation and the environment.
